El Arco de Cabo San Lucas

If you’re going to Cabo, one thing you shouldn’t miss is the beauty of the water and there’s no better way to see it than below the surface. If you’ve never gone snorkeling before, you might wonder how much expertise you’ll need. The great news is that almost anyone can snorkel.

People sometimes confuse snorkeling with scuba diving, but they’re very different. Scuba divers spend prolonged periods of time under the water and need training in order to safely use the equipment. Anyone can snorkel with minimal training. You’re basically able to stand and swim in the water, using a mask and snorkel tube to breathe while looking at the wildlife below. It’s an excellent and safe adventure.

If you’ve never been to Cabo and are planning a trip, you’ll want to research a bit about the area you’re staying and local customs. There are a lot of great activities to try, but snorkeling will be one of your most memorable.
